LIVING HOPE

These videos follow the Living Hope workbook. Or, grab your Bible and a notebook and jump right in! In 64 AD, following the Great Fire of Rome that had devastated much of the city, Emperor Nero sought to deflect blame for the disaster. The Christians were swiftly targeted as scapegoats. Their persecution was not only approved but also promoted, with their executions becoming a grim form of entertainment in Rome. The letters of 1 and 2 Peter were written to these distressed and scattered Christians, who faced severe trials and were dispersed throughout the Roman Empire.
